The Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Have regard for the need to safeguard pupils’ well-being following statutory provisions
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the curriculum and student needs
• Assess, record and report on the progress of students, ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that supports positive behaviour and mutual respect, following the school’s behaviour policy
• Contribute to wider school life, including pastoral care 
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents/carers to support student progress and wellbeing
• Take responsibility for improving teaching through appropriate professional development, responding to advice and feedback from colleagues

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Read the DfE ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’ (2025 document)
• Specialises in any secondary subject (we have roles to suit all subject areas)
• Genuine love for teaching and learning
• Has impressive classroom management 
• Excellent communication, Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills
• Resilient, reflective and committed to making a positive difference
• Whether newly qualified or highly experienced, is committed to continuous professional development
