Teaching Assistant – SEMH & SEN (Secondary)

Do you have experience supporting secondary-aged students with SEMH or SEN needs?
We are looking for a passionate, resilient Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school supporting pupils with Autism (ASD) and social, emotional & mental health challenges.
What You’ll Do
Support KS3/KS4 students 1:1 and in small groups
Assist in delivering tailored learning plans
Implement behaviour management strategies to keep lessons positive and engaging
Work closely with teachers, pastoral staff, and therapists to support student progress
What We’re Looking For
Experience with SEMH/SEN or secondary-aged pupils (essential)
Patience, empathy, and resilience
Ability to build trust and encourage positive progress
Strong communication and teamwork skills
