SEN Teaching Assistants
Full Time
Long Term Roles
Coventry and Surrounding Areas

We are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who are open to new long term opportunities from January. These roles are based across mainstream schools, specialist provisions, and alternative settings in Coventry.

If you have experience supporting pupils with additional needs and want consistent, meaningful work where you can build strong relationships and see pupils grow in confidence, we would like to hear from you. Many of the schools we support offer permanent contracts after a successful long term placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide one to one or small group support for pupils with additional needs.
• Support pupils with autism, communication needs, SEMH, or developmental delays.
• Help pupils follow routines, engage with learning, and manage transitions.
• Adapt activities to meet individual needs in partnership with teachers and SENCOs.
• Maintain a calm, safe, and structured learning environment.
• Offer consistent, reliable support that helps pupils feel secure each day.

Requirements

• Recent experience supporting pupils with SEND in a school or specialist setting.
• Genuine passion for supporting pupils with additional needs.
• Level 3 TA qualification or a related degree such as psychology is preferred but not essential.
• Calm, patient, and resilient approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, professional, and able to commit long term.
