Some pupils need calm routines, steady encouragement, and someone who helps school feel safe enough to manage the day. If you enjoy offering that kind of support, you may be well suited to a long term SEMH Teaching Assistant role starting in January.
We work with primary, secondary, and specialist settings that value consistency. These schools look for teaching assistants who can build trust over time, guide pupils through their daily routines, and notice the small moments when a child begins to settle. If you're planning your next step for the new year and want a role where you can grow your skills, this could be a strong match.
