Semi Senior Accountant

Job Description:

One of our clients, based just to the north of Derby are seeking someone with experience gained from working in practice for a crucial Semi Senior accounts position.

 This is a friendly firm with a good reputation, excellent office facilities and parking available on site.

Full flexible hours are offered, they are very organised and great at training young professionals.

The work will be a general practice position with much focus on accounts and tax, potentially including reviewing work (if you are more experienced) including VAT returns.

The Role:

• Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships.
• Preparation of corporation tax computations, Income tax computations and VAT returns.
• Production of quarterly or monthly management accounts for a portfolio of clients.
• Dealing directly with clients on day-to-day queries
• Ad hoc accountancy and taxation work
