If you have a prior practice experience looking to significantly develop your skills, you will be working in a collaborative environment, managing a broad portfolio of clients across various sectors. The role offers excellent exposure to core accounting functions including accounts preparation, corporation tax, VAT returns, bookkeeping, payroll, and audit support.

What will you do as a Semi Senior Accountant?

• Prepare comprehensive management accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, and Limited Companies.
• Assist in the preparation of business tax computations and corporation tax returns.
• Prepare and review client VAT returns, ensuring full compliance with current HMRC regulations.
• Perform core bookkeeping duties, including journal entries, ledger reconciliations, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with accurate payroll processing for a portfolio of clients.
• Provide valuable support on audit engagements where applicable.
• Client Liaison: Provide excellent client service, answering queries promptly and professionally.

What do you need as a Semi Senior Accountant?

• Essential Experience: Prior experience working within an Accountancy Practice is highly desirable.
• Qualifications: AAT qualified or currently actively studying towards ACCA/ACA.
• Software Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of key accounting platforms: Sage, Xero, and QuickBooks, along with Microsoft Office Suite.
