precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and
machining) and are looking for a
Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their growing team.
Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker Permanent£27,977.94 - £28,800.66 per annum36.5 hours: Early Shift; 06.00 – 14.30 Mon-Thurs, 06.00 – 10.30 Fridays. Derby Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal WorkerJob Description - Assembly and Riveting of Sheet metal components in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Ability to read and understand data cards and drawings to the level required for machine set up and operation.
- Set up machines with the required settings and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
- Complete riveting operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.
- Skilled in the use of riveting equipment, measuring equipment and hand tools.
- Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, etc.
- Use of all measuring equipment as required to check conformance to requirements.
- Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant specifications to ensure that components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations.
Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal WorkerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications - Demonstratable experience working with sheet metal/assembling parts/components, using a range of manufacturing hand tools, equipment, or machinery (riveting, countersinking, air tools, air grinders, drilling, trimming etc)
- Must have a keen eye for detail
- Self-driven, and motivated
