Our client is a global, leading precision component manufacturer primarily operating in the Aerospace sector. They manufacture precision engineered parts for aerospace customers (mainly precision fabrication and machining) and are looking for a Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker to join their growing team.

Semi-Skilled Sheet Metal Worker
Job Description

• Assembly and Riveting of Sheet metal components in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Ability to read and understand data cards and drawings to the level required for machine set up and operation.
• Set up machines with the required settings and tooling in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Complete riveting operations efficiently in accordance with Job Card instructions to achieve the required output levels.
• Skilled in the use of riveting equipment, measuring equipment and hand tools.
• Read and understand all manufacturing instructions prior to commencing an operation, this includes, Engineering Drawings, Data Cards, etc.
• Use of all measuring equipment as required to check conformance to requirements.
• Carry out in process inspection in accordance with relevant specifications to ensure that components are conforming prior to passing on to subsequent operations.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Demonstratable experience working with sheet metal/assembling parts/components, using a range of manufacturing hand tools, equipment, or machinery (riveting, countersinking, air tools, air grinders, drilling, trimming etc)
• Must have a keen eye for detail
• Self-driven, and motivated
