Role: SEN Teaching Assistant ( Day to Day) 

Location: Leicester

We are currently working on behalf of a specialist school in Leicester that caters for children and young people up to the age of 16.

Every pupil at this school has an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school places a strong emphasis on personalised learning, tailoring education to meet each child’s individual needs through creative and flexible approaches.

This role is day-to-day, offering flexibility and the opportunity to gain valuable classroom experience in a rewarding setting.

The role:

• Supporting pupils with a range of additional learning needs in both group and one-to-one settings

• Helping to deliver tailored learning plans in line with EHCPs

• Promoting independence, inclusion, and positive engagement in school life

• Working collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and wider school staff

What we’re looking for:

• Experience of working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential)

• Patience, resilience, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles

• A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs

• Willingness to work flexibly on a day-to-day basis
