Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant – North Leicester
£83.33 - £95 per day | Immediate Start | Full-Time Role

GSL Education is seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs in secondary schools across North Leicester. As a Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide one-to-one or small group support to students with special educational needs.
• Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Help manage behaviour and promote a positive learning environment.
• Support students with communication, social, emotional, and physical needs.
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement individual learning plans (ILPs).

• Experience working with children or young people, ideally within a secondary school SEN setting.
• A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A valid enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

• Competitive pay of £83.33 - £95 per day.
