As a graduate in Child Psychology, Education, Social Sciences, or a related field, you’ve already shown a passion for understanding how children think, feel, and grow. Now, imagine putting that passion into practice - helping young people with additional needs thrive, every single day.

This is more than a support role. It’s a transformational experience—for the pupils you'll work with and for you. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, you'll apply your academic insight to real-world settings: from inclusive mainstream schools to specialist SEND provisions and alternative environments.

You'll support learners with a range of needs, including:

• Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
• ADHD
• Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN)
• Social, Emotional & Mental Health (SEMH) challenges

Whether you're helping a child communicate their needs, manage big emotions, or engage with learning in a way that works for them, you'll be building a toolkit of experience that’s both emotionally rewarding and career-enhancing - especially if you're considering pathways in Educational Psychology, Therapy, or SEND Teaching.

✨ We're Looking For:

✔ Graduates in Child Psychology, Education, Social Work, Youth Studies, or similar – or those with a Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching & Learning / Childcare / SEND
✔ Experience working with children or young people (within the last 3 years) – in schools, clinical settings, care, youth work, or similar
✔ Confidence in supporting young people with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, or SLCN
✔ A proactive, patient and emotionally intelligent approach
✔ Ideally available full-time (Mon–Fri), though this isn't essential.
