Location: Kettering (Northamptonshire)
Contract: Permanent or Supply (Full-Time/Part-Time Options Available)
Salary: NJC Grade E Point 4 – 6, £24,404–£25,183 FTE (£20,332–£20,981 actual)
The Role:
Vision for Education is recruiting a dedicated Level 2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs across mainstream and specialist settings in Northamptonshire. You’ll work closely with class teachers and SEN staff to deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions, promote positive learning behaviours, and help pupils access the curriculum. This role is suited to candidates passionate about inclusive education looking for either long-term employment or flexible supply work.
Requirements:

NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Teaching Assistance or SEND support, or GCSE Grade C/4+ in English & Maths

Proven experience working with children with SEND in UK schools

Strong behaviour-management and communication skills

Ability to support pupils in both academic and social/emotional learning

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service—or willingness to apply
