SEN Teaching Assistant – Long-Term Roles Across Coventry and Warwickshire

Some pupils need more time, patience, and understanding - and that’s where you come in.

We’re looking for SEN Teaching Assistants to join inclusive primary and secondary schools across Coventry and Warwickshire from January 2026 and help children with additional needs grow in confidence, independence, and learning every day.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, adapting activities to meet individual needs.

• Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and therapists to support learning and wellbeing.

• Encourage focus, emotional regulation, and positive routines throughout the school day.

• Help pupils develop social and communication skills in a safe, nurturing environment.

• Contribute to an inclusive classroom where every pupil feels seen and supported.

Requirements

• Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs.

• A patient, compassionate approach and willingness to learn.

• Full-time availability for long-term work from January 2026.

• Psychology degree, Level 3 TA qualification, or education background (preferred).

• Commitment to helping pupils achieve academically and emotionally.
