SEN Teaching Assistant (Hinckley)
Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire
Start Date: After May Half Term
Contract Type: Full-Time (5 days per week)
Salary: £100-£105 per day (dependent on experience)
Aspire People are working in partnership with a fantastic primary school in Hinckley to find a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant. This is a rewarding opportunity to work 1:1 with a child who has Special Educational Needs (SEN). If you have experience working in a UK school setting and a passion for supporting children with additional needs, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Provide tailored 1:1 support for a child with SEN needs
Assist in the development of the child's learning and wellbeing
Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
Communicate effectively with the child's family and other professionals involved
Requirements:
Proven experience working within a UK primary school setting
Previous experience supporting children with SEN (desired but not essential)
Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to working with children
Ability to work as part of a team and follow individual learning plans
