SEND Teaching assistant role - Temp to perm

Job Description:

TeacherActive are working closely with a SEND (Special and educational needs) school within Derby who are looking for highly enthusiastic and passionate SEND teaching assistant to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will be someone who has a clear passion for working in this setting and who is confident in supporting children with Autism and associated needs.

The successful SEND Teaching Assistant will:

• Have the ability to build strong and supportive relationships with students.
• Be highly supportive of each student.
• Be patient and understanding.
• Strive to make a positive impact.
• Be able to work collaboratively with teachers.
• Have a passion for working within an SEND school.
