Vacancy Details:

• L2 Teaching Assistant position
• Working with a high proportion of autistic pupils, as well as those with other SEN such as ADHD, and other sensory and physical needs.
• Full time, term time only
• Working in close collaboration with class teachers and the school SENDCO
• Playing an active part in maintaining the schools excellent learning environment

Candidate Requirements:

To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:

• A teaching assistant qualification of at least L2, L3 preferred
• Experience of providing TA support in a school based setting for at least 1 term
• Demonstrable experience of working with Autistic learners
• Full enhanced DBS certificate
• Completion of the Merit Education Onboarding Process
• The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teaching assistant
• A minimum of 2 school based references
