Key Responsibilities:

• Lead initial client meetings, manage onboarding processes, and ensure ongoing compliance with statutory filing requirements
• Provide expert advice, handle client queries, and maintain strong, long-term relationships
• Collaborate with the wider team, which currently includes an Assistant Accountant, Bookkeeper, and Payroll Manager - and provide cover where needed
• Travel to Derby office and other regional offices as required

Day-to-Day Duties Include:

• Preparation and review of personal and company tax returns
• Production of year-end accounts for a variety of clients
• Oversight of VAT returns completed by the Assistant Accountant
• Delivering business advice and consultancy services
• Conducting client meetings and providing exceptional customer service
• Supporting clients with Xero setup, training, and migrations
• Managing client workflows, tasks, and deadlines
• Handling queries and resolving any complaints promptly and professionally

• A qualified accountant preferably with experience of working / qualifying in a practice
• A self-starter who can work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

You will be provided with a salary of up to £50,000, dependent on experience, with a bonus, pension, health insurance, professional subscriptions. Company also offers a relaxed and friendly working environment.
