Senior Aftermarket Manager
Coventry | £70,000 – £90,000 + package
Overview
A senior leadership opportunity to take full ownership of aftermarket operations across a nationwide business. This role is central to driving service performance, parts revenue, and operational efficiency across an established and growing customer base.
You will lead the aftermarket function end-to-end, covering parts, service, contracts, and site operations.
The Opportunity
- Lead and develop the entire aftermarket and maintenance function
- Drive growth across parts, service, and long-term support contracts
- Build and manage a high-performing service and operations team
- Implement structure, processes, and best practice across the department
- Play a key role in the continued growth of the business
Key Responsibilities
- Full ownership of aftermarket operations across the UK
- Management of parts sales, service delivery, and maintenance activities
- Leadership and coordination of service engineers and site works
- Ownership of service contracts and ongoing customer support
- Oversight of machine warranty processes and technical support
- Development of parts, procurement, and stock management strategy
- Management of yard operations and logistics at the Coventry site
- Supplier management and development of key relationships
- Budgeting, forecasting, and performance management
- Driving operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction
About You
- Proven leadership experience within heavy plant, quarrying, material handling, industrial machinery aftermarket
- Strong technical understanding of crushing, screening, or similar equipment
- Track record of managing service teams and driving aftermarket performance
- Commercially aware with strong operational control
- Confident managing suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders
- Able to bring structure, accountability, and performance into a growing function
Requirements
- 5+ years’ experience in a relevant aftermarket/service leadership role
- Degree educated (or equivalent experience)
- Strong systems knowledge (MS365, SharePoint, Salesforce or similar)
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel nationally as required
