My client, a highly respected care provider, is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join their dedicated team. They specialise in providing high-quality dementia care within a safe and secure setting.

Requirements of the Senior Care Assistant Role:

• Excellent communication and written skills
• Previous experience as a senior care assistant, ideally in a care home setting
• NVQ3 or higher in Health & Social Care
• Medication Trained

Senior Care Assistant Responsibilities:

As a Senior Care Assistant, you will take a key role in supporting residents, mentoring staff, and ensuring high standards of care and documentation are maintained at all times. Responsibilities include:

• Support residents with personal care, promoting dignity and independence
• Lead and supervise care staff, ensuring compliance with CQC standards
• Liaise with GPs, healthcare professionals, and families
• Administer medication and assist with care plans and risk assessments
• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care
• Maintain knowledge of CQC guidelines, safeguarding, and DoLS
