We are hiring for a Senior Civil Engineer with extensive experience in infrastructure, drainage, and structural projects, based in Leicester. This is a senior role, offering the chance to lead projects, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with clients on a variety of civil engineering developments.

In this role you will be working as part of the design and engineering team, taking responsibility for leading and delivering projects. Reporting to the Project Director, you will be responsible for:

1. Leading the design and delivery of civil engineering projects from feasibility to completion.

2. Producing and reviewing technical designs, calculations, and reports.

3. Overseeing and mentoring junior engineers and technicians.

4. Coordinating with clients, contractors, and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives.

5. Carrying out site visits, inspections, and progress reviews where required.

6. Ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to required quality and safety standards.

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you need to have experience with:

1. Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent qualification).

2. Extensive experience in civil engineering design (infrastructure, highways, drainage, and structures).

3. Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroDrainage or similar engineering software.

It would be beneficial to the Senior Civil Engineer role if you also had:

1. Chartered Engineer status (ICE/IStructE) or working towards chartership.

2. Strong leadership and team management skills.

3. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

4. Full UK driving licence and willingness to attend site visits.
