Senior Civils Engineer
Location: Leicester (within 1-hour commute)
Salary: Up to £60,000

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to take a key role in delivering a variety of infrastructure schemes, from small highway improvements to large residential and commercial developments.

Role Overview

You'll lead civil engineering projects from concept to detailed design, mentor junior staff, and ensure technical excellence across all stages. Work includes access junction design, drainage strategies, and Section 278/184 schemes for both public and private sector clients.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)

• 8+ years' experience in civil infrastructure design

• Strong knowledge of DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20, NRSWA

• Experience with S278, S38, S104 agreements

• Skilled in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Vehicle Tracking, and MicroDrainage

• Chartered or working towards chartership (ICE/CIHT/CIWEM) would be beneficial

Desirable

Experience in public realm, active travel, or major highway schemes.
