Are you a Senior CNC Manufacturing Engineer looking to join a growing engineering business with a strong order book spanning a range of sectors?

We are looking for an experienced Senior CNC Manufacturing Engineer to join an expanding engineering business who have secured several contracts across new sectors. As a Senior CNC Manufacturing Engineer, your primary focus will be looking at new projects coming into the business and identifying the most efficient way to machine the parts. We need someone with a strong technical background when it comes to new product development within a CNC / Tooling environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who loves problem solving and has a passion for Engineering. The company have invested considerably into state of the art machinery and offer a supportive working environment. As they are a small team, we do need someone who is flexible and can retain working the machines where needed – this isn’t just a hands off CAD CAM role.

Salary: £50,000 to £55,000 per annum as a guide. Days based with flexible hours. Scope to grow as the business continues to secure new work.  

This Senior CNC Manufacturing Engineer job will suit:

• A skilled CNC Engineer who has helped create new machining processes / cycles to ensure parts are created efficiently.
• Previous exposure to DMG or other mill turn machines would be an advantage.
• CAD CAM experience is required to create the required machining process.
• Someone who still enjoys being hands on where needed.
• A team player – part of the role involves working with quality to identify the best inspection process once the part has been machined.

The Senior CNC Manufacturing Engineer job will involve:

• Working on new product development projects within the CNC machining department.
• Using CAD CAM to create the program, setting up the machine and ensuring parts are manufactured to description.
• Projects can be complex, and range from ones offs to high volume.
• Working alongside quality to create follow up inspection processes.
• Managing customers and resolving technical queries.
