Senior Finance Accountant

Job Description:

We have the pleasure of recruiting for a brand new position down to growth for our very well established client who are based in Bingham. 

We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Finance Accountant to join our clients dynamic finance team. This is a fast-paced role with high KPIs and expectations for accuracy, efficiency, and initiative from day one.

This is a full time office based position with a salary of £38k-£42k DOE

Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:30

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s financial operations, delivering high-quality reporting, and supporting strategic decision-making. You must have proven experience using QuickBooks and be confident in taking ownership of financial processes without the need for extensive training.

Key Responsibilities but not limited to:

• Manage and oversee the daily financial operations of the business
• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions
• Complete bank reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
• Ensure all financial records meet legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a Senior Finance / Accountant role
• Advanced QuickBooks knowledge is essential
• Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and statutory compliance
• Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
