Salary: £38,000 - £44,000
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join a thriving team of ground investigation engineers at a head office located in Derby. As a successful candidate, you will play a critical role in the design, supervision, and management of site investigations, interpretative reporting, and mentorship of team members. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role:
- Leading the design, supervision, and management of site investigations
- Preparation of interpretative reports and earthworks specifications
- Mentoring and managing team members
- Assisting in the collation of all project Health & Safety Documentation
Qualifications / Experience / Skills required to be considered for the Senior Geotechnical Engineer role:
- A degree in one of the Earth Sciences, ideally with an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology or similar
- Hands-on experience in a ground investigation role within the UK
- Proficiency in geotechnical investigations, analysis, and design
- Membership in the Geological Society (or similar) and working towards chartered status
- Full UK Driving License is essential
- Live in or near to Nottingham
- Full right to work in the UK
