Job Title: Senior Litigation Paralegal
Location: Leicestershire
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established and growing legal team within a fast-paced commercial environment. The successful Senior Litigation Paralegal will manage a portfolio of pre-action and litigated matters, providing comprehensive legal support across a range of dispute resolution and commercial litigation cases.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review matters and manage all pre-action and post-litigation procedures effectively.

• Draft legal documentation including witness statements, disclosure documents, court bundles, and applications.

• Handle a range of litigation including small claims, fast/intermediate track, and multi-track matters.

• Issue and manage court proceedings and enforcement actions.

• Conduct mediations and negotiate settlements where appropriate.

• Advise on statutory demands and winding up petitions.

• Support and mentor junior legal team members as required.

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases.

• Maintain a strong understanding of Civil Procedure Rules (CPR).

• Utilise case management systems to handle files efficiently.

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience in a Senior Litigation Paralegal role, ideally within a commercial or debt recovery setting.

• CILEx qualified or currently studying towards qualification (preferred but not essential).

• Excellent drafting, advocacy, and negotiation skills.

• A solid working knowledge of CPR and general litigation procedures.

• Motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

• Confident communicator with a professional approach to client and court interactions.
