Senior Multiskilled Technician – Rail

If so, TXM Recruit are working in partnership with a high-profile railway client. They are expanding their projects and are looking for multiple Senior Multiskilled Technician to join their team located in the East Midlands on a contract basis. This role is paying £25 per hour.
 Key Accountabilities:

• Servicing, maintenance, repair and overhaul of traction and rolling stock components and plant equipment inspection.
• Ensuring that as part of a team, your own and your team’s work targets are met.

• Carry out all work to agreed standards and that all work undertaken is recorded and “signed off” on the prescribed documentation.
• Support and give guidance to all members of the team.
• Fault finding on rolling stock as directed by Team Leader

Specific Experience:

• Qualified to NVQ Level 3 standard in a relevant mechanical/electrical (or dual-skilled) engineering or maintenance discipline (e.g. Traction and Rolling Stock) or have completed a recognised apprenticeship.
• Practical experience of mechanical and electrical discipline desired.
• Knowledge of ISO 9002 and ISO 14001, IMS and Safety regulations.
• Competent in Depot Protection System.

Contract: 6 Months (ongoing)
Pay Rate: £25 per hour.
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday – Nights – 35 hours a week

Shortlisted candidates will be required to pass an online safety assessment and safety critical medical before an offer can be made.
