Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Description:

Our Civil Engineering client operates throughout the UK delivering integrated solutions for projects in Water, Utilities, Rail, Highway’s and Energy.

Their Civils division operates within the water industry delivering projects for Tier1 main contractors. Due to recent awards and a healthy order book for clients working in a 5year framework, they are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage a portfolio of projects from inception through to final accounts.

There will be a mixture of office and home working along with site visits as and when required.

Job Description

• Ensure commercial compliance of current contracts, protecting the position of the company.
• Provide the delivery teams with commercial support (Change management process and contractual/commercial advice).
• Production and monthly updating of the project out-turn forecast and incoming/outgoing cashflow forecasts with PM support.
• Preparation and production of monthly commercial reports in line with company procedures.
• Prepare contractual notices for all events and variations and administer the Subcontract conditions, accordingly, aided and supported by the Senior Commercial Manager and the rest of the management team.

Experience required.

• Degree in Quantity Surveying.
• Previous experience in a Construction/Civil Engineering/Utilities industry background.
• NEC 3 or NEC4 experience.

• Salary - £65,000 - £75,000 depending on experience.
