Senior Residential Childcare Worker
Location: Nottingham
Hours: Full-time, 174 hours per month
Sleep‑in shifts: 23:00–07:00 on a 3‑week rolling rota (7 sleep‑ins per cycle)
On‑call: Occasional on‑call duties once competent and confident

We are recruiting on behalf of a respected and expanding private childcare provider seeking passionate, child‑centred, and experienced Senior Residential Childcare Workers for their homes in the Nottingham area.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are committed to delivering high‑quality, therapeutic care and who are ready to take on a leadership role within a residential setting. You will lead shifts, guide staff practice, and play a key part in shaping the daily experience and long‑term outcomes of the children and young people in the home.

Role Summary
As a Senior Residential Childcare Worker, you will oversee day‑to‑day operations within the home, providing leadership, guidance, and support to the residential care team. Working closely with management, you will ensure the safety, well‑being, and holistic development of the children in your care.
Your leadership will help create a therapeutic, stable, and nurturing environment where children can build positive relationships, develop life skills, and achieve meaningful progress.
