Grafton Recruitment are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Senior Sales Advisor to join our client's showroom team in South West Leicester. This is a senior position with real influence, offering the chance to represent premium outdoor living solutions already trusted by thousands across Europe.

As a Senior Sales Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in the success of the showroom. You'll guide customers through the product range, provide expert advice, and ensure they feel confident in their choices. Alongside achieving your own sales targets, you'll act as a mentor and role model for junior colleagues, supporting the Sales Team Leader in driving performance and delivering an exceptional customer journey.

THE ROLE:

What you'll be doing:

• Welcoming customers and offering tailored, professional advice.
• Understanding customer needs and creating bespoke solutions.
• Preparing and following up on quotations to ensure a seamless sales process.
• Achieving personal and team sales targets.
• Coaching and assisting junior advisors.
• Monitoring KPIs and steering towards long-term goals.
• Resolving complex or escalated issues effectively.
• Leading process improvements within the department and wider organisation.
• Overseeing recruitment, conducting interviews, and guiding onboarding.
• Demonstrating leadership by coaching mid-level employees and fostering strong team dynamics.
• Translating strategic objectives into operational actions that drive results.

THE CANDIDATE:

• We're looking for an experienced sales professional with strong leadership qualities and a customer-first mindset.
• 5-10 years of proven sales experience, ideally in retail or showroom environments.
• A track record of achieving and exceeding sales goals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport.
• Commercial drive, proactivity, and customer focus.
• Confidence in mentoring and supporting colleagues.
• Fluency in English (additional European languages are an advantage).
• Flexibility to work weekends in line with showroom opening hours.
