Senior Site Manager / Project Manager

Location: East Midlands
Salary: Competitive + Package
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established and highly respected UK housebuilder during a period of strong regional growth. This role offers the chance to take the lead on a high-volume timber frame development in the East Midlands, working closely with a regional construction leadership team.

This position would suit an experienced Senior Site Manager ready to step up into a Project Manager-level role, or someone already operating at PM level seeking a new challenge with long-term career prospects.

🔍 What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience delivering volume residential schemes, ideally using timber frame construction

• Strong track record of site leadership, driving safety, quality, and delivery

• Deep understanding of health & safety, particularly relating to timber frame and fire safety

• Ability to coordinate and lead multi-disciplinary site teams

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

✅ Minimum Requirements:

• CSCS Card - Management level

• SMSTS & First Aid at Work (in date)

• NVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Construction Site Management

• HNC / HND or similar construction-related qualification

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Asta Powerproject / Teamplan

🎯 Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of a multi-phase housing development, ensuring build quality and programme targets are met

• Maintain the highest standards of health, safety and compliance across site

• Drive continuous improvements in site presentation, safety culture and build process

• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, internal teams, and stakeholders

• Provide clear leadership to the site team, supporting development and performance

• Monitor and manage the build programme and resource planning

• Ensure all works are carried out in line with technical drawings, build specifications and NHBC standards

• Contribute to project planning and commercial decisions to optimise site performance

• Take responsibility for quality control, snagging and client satisfaction on handovers
