Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Stress Engineer to join a leading turbomachinery team. The role involves performing structural analysis from concept through production, ensuring designs meet stress, vibration, and lifting requirements, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to process improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead preparation of analysis plans and project schedules.
- Perform structural analysis on new and existing turbomachinery designs.
- Collaborate with project leads and engineering managers to meet requirements.
- Create technical documentation, design reports, and present findings internally and to customers.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on structural analysis methods.
Skills Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 10+ years of applied stress analysis experience on turbomachinery or combustion hardware.
- Proficiency with finite element software (ABAQUS, ANSYS, NASTRAN).
- Strong knowledge of solid mechanics, strength of materials, and gas turbine component behaviour.
