Astute's Nuclear Team is partnering with a design consultancy, who are heavily invested in providing leading projects to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer for one of their sites in the Midlands.

Responsibilities and duties of the Senior Structural Engineer role
Reporting to the Associate Engineer you will:
- Lead and run projects and delegate work
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and liaise with technicians
- Be client facing and attend site visits
- Provide detailed designs for projects within the Nuclear and Commercial sector
- Offer insight to potential new business leads
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
- 5 years' experience as a Structural Engineer (minimum)
- Ideally chartered with the ICE or IStructE (or working towards)
Personal skills
The Senior Structural Engineer role would suit someone who is:
- Comfortable in difficult situations
- Able to manage their time well, as well as others within the team
- Someone who has the ability to want to grow and progress their career
