Service Care Solutions are working alongside a nationally recognised Accountancy practice who are looking for an experienced and accomplished Senior Tax Advisor  on a permanent basis. Please find a description of the role below.

Overview: 
We’re seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Tax Adviser to lead complex tax projects, oversee restructures, and support the development of junior team members. This role is key to ensuring technical accuracy, client satisfaction, and compliance with HMRC and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead tax restructuring projects from planning to completion.
• Prepare detailed steps plans and tax analysis, referencing legislation and case law.
• Instruct solicitors, manage filings (e.g., HMRC), and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Review work by junior advisers to ensure quality, compliance, and client value.
• Deliver expert tax advice across Corporation Tax, Income Tax, CGT, IHT, Stamp Taxes, and Employment Taxes.
• Support and mentor team members; assist with appraisals and development plans.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality and compliance.
• Contribute to process improvements and cost-efficiency.
• CTA qualified (or equivalent).
• Strong technical expertise in UK direct taxes and transactional work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and a solutions-focused mindset.
• Confident in client-facing roles and mentoring junior staff.
• Committed to continuous learning and development.
