Senior Warehouse Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Warehouse Operator to join our team at Magna Park. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to take on a leadership role within a dynamic warehouse environment.

Position: Senior Warehouse Operator
Salary: £13.50 per hour (Day Shift) / £14.50 per hour (Night Shift)
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (Days: 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM; Nights: 7:30 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily shift check-ins for staff, ensuring all team members are accounted for prior to shift start.
• Report directly to the Agency Manager daily before the beginning of the shift with required records
• Facilitate new starter inductions, ensuring that all new employees are properly onboarded.
• Set up and manage clock-in machines for accurate timekeeping.
• After initial check-in, perform normal warehouse duties, including:
  • Sorting parcels
  • Outbound and inbound shipments
  • Executing any other warehouse-related tasks as required

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment, with a focus on leadership and operational efficiency.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to quality and safety.
