About The Company & Role
This well-established and reputable security systems business delivers comprehensive services across both residential and commercial sectors. From installation to planned and reactive maintenance of intruder alarms, fire detection, CCTV, access control, and door entry systems – they are committed to quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly organised and confident Service Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of their engineering team. This office-based position plays a vital role in coordinating engineer diaries, handling client communications, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.
Key Requirements
- Efficiently schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance appointments for field engineers.
- Adaptively reorganise appointments in the event of sickness, customer cancellations or priority callouts.
- Proactively manage engineer diaries to maintain utilisation and productivity targets.
- Ensure tasks are closed and invoiced promptly, and service reports are delivered to customers.
- Monitor and report on asset logging compliance, including panel age and model.
- Communicate clearly with clients and internal teams regarding scheduling, updates, and expectations.
- Respond professionally to customer enquiries, cancellations, and satisfaction survey feedback.
- Assist with preparation of maintenance agreements and takeover documentation for new customers.
- Manage service inboxes, ensure timely responses, and escalate technical queries when required.
- Maintain accurate records across service platforms, internal databases, and client contact logs.
Skills & Experience
- Strong organisational and diary management skills – essential
- Professional and confident communicator – essential
- IT-literate (Microsoft Office, CRM or job management software) – essential
- Proven customer service experience – essential
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise in a fast-paced environment – essential

Hours Of Work
- Monday – Friday
- 8:30am – 5pm (start and end times can be shifted to fit your needs)
- 40 hours per week
