Job Description:

Derby
£30,000 – £35,000 per annum
Full Time Office Based

Monday to Friday on a rota basis between 7:00am – 6:00pm & 1 in 4 Saturdays: 7:00am – 1:00pm

A highly reputable commercial vehicle supplier is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join their busy and professional Truck Service Department at their Derby branch.

This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual with proven experience in the commercial vehicle industry to join a well-established and respected organisation.

As a Service Advisor, you will be the key point of contact between customers and the workshop team, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience from start to finish.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing all customer service interactions for the Truck Service Department

• Booking vehicles in for service, maintenance and repair

• Providing accurate updates to customers on work progress

• Preparing estimates, job cards and invoices

• Liaising with workshop technicians and parts department

• Handling warranty claims and service documentation

• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance procedures are followed

• Delivering exceptional service and building strong customer relationships

This is a busy, fast-paced office-based role that requires strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Previous customer service experience within the commercial vehicle industry (essential)

• Experience in a Service Advisor or similar aftersales role

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong administrative and IT skills

• The ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment

• A professional and customer-focused approach

• Competitive salary of £30,000 – £35,000 per year
