Job title - Service Engineer -CMM Equipment
Hours - 38 Hours per week- Perm
Salary - £35k -£37k

Roles & Responsibilities - Key tasks
- Work as a field-based engineer across the UK with occasional international travel.
- Service, maintain, and repair Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and lightweight CNC machines used across various industries.
- Operate across multiple sectors including automotive and aerospace.
- Calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with standards.
- Compile and record detailed measurement data to support customer quality and inspection needs.
- Support customers with troubleshooting, fault-finding, and issue resolution.
- Occasionally work away from home due to the mobile nature of the role.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure customer care is paramount.
- Communicate with stakeholders on any potential impacts for the business
- Uphold the company quality strategy and processes, including recommendations and operational improvements to improve quality & service.

Person Specification
Essential - Solid engineering knowledge – ideally with mechanical and/or electrical systems.
- Proven experience with metrology equipment or service and calibration.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Integrity
- Ability to build strong relationships.
- UK Drivers license
- Desirable
- Comfortable installing, servicing, and calibrating high-precision equipment.
- Proven experience with CMM and or CNC equipment.
