Service Engineer

Job Description:

Service Engineer / CNC Engineer / Field Service Engineer required for a global manufacturer of CNC machines.

The Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Field Service Engineer will work remotely and be responsible for installing, servicing, repairing and maintaining CNC machinery across the UK and provide training and support to customers on company CAD/CAM software, full CAD/CAM training provided.

The successful Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Field Service Engineer will be based in the Midlands region and ideally have a background in electrical or mechanical engineering with prior experience servicing CNC machinery or capital equipment.

Package:

• £40,000 - £45,000

Service Engineer role:

• Working remotely, install, service, repair and maintain CNC machinery across the UK and provide training and support to customers on CAD/CAM software, full CAD/CAM training provided.
• Attend to both electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Perform electrical and mechanical fault finding on CNC machinery and equipment.
• Represent the company in a professional and friendly manner when meeting with customers across the UK.
• Remote role covering the UK.

Service Engineer requirements:

• Prior experience servicing CNC machines, CNC machinery, machine tools or capital equipment.
• A qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering – HND, HNC, Apprenticeship or Degree is desirable but not a requirement.
• Prior experience using CAD/CAM software is advantageous.
• Located in the Midlands region.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
