Service Engineer

Job Description:

A well-established and highly respected engineering technology business is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join its growing UK team.

This role is primarily focused on supporting customers on-site with the installation, maintenance and repair of CNC machinery. You will carry out hands-on fault-finding and diagnostics across mechanical, electrical, and PLC-controlled systems, resolving complex breakdowns and ensuring equipment operates at optimal performance.

The Role

• Installation and commissioning of CNC machinery
• Mechanical and electrical fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repair
• Planned preventative maintenance and servicing
• PLC diagnostics and system troubleshooting
• On-site customer training and operational guidance
• Producing clear, professional service reports
• Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience working on CNC machinery
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding capability
• Field service engineering background
• Ability to work independently and travel alone
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Full UK driving licence
