Service Engineer – HVAC / Humidification
Location: UK – Leicester, Derby, Notts
Salary: £36-68K Basic DOE + optional weekend premium
Hours: 39 hours/week (Mon–Thurs 8hrs, Fri 7hrs), 9-hour average working day

What You’ll Be Doing
- Service, maintain, fault-find, and commission HVAC and humidification systems across your region.
- Travel to customer sites (occasional overnight stays), with driving time paid.
- Manage your fully equipped van, tools, and stock.
- Deliver excellent customer service and represent the company professionally on-site.
- Work independently, but with mentoring and support from senior engineers and management.
- Optional weekend work during peak periods (winter) – usually 1 Saturday per month.
About 70% of the work is planned maintenance, 10% breakdowns, 10% other — predictable, organised, and professional.
Who We’re Looking For
- Hands-on mechanical engineering bias with some electrical knowledge.
- Experience in mobile service roles, ideally HVAC, F-Gas, water treatment, or building services.
- Confident in customer-facing situations, professional communication, and problem-solving.
- Driving license with max 3 points – you’ll be on the road often.
- Maturity, reliability, and ownership of your work.
Bonus Points:
- Plumbing or water systems experience
- F-Gas qualified or some gas experience
- Previous work with air conditioning / humidification systems
