Setter/Operator – CNC Turner

Shift Pattern: Weekday Night Shift – 18.00 to 06.00 Monday to Thursday (46.40 hours per week)
Salary: £22.20 per hour (inclusive of shift allowance)

We have a vacancy for a Setter/Operator – CNC Turner to join our manufacturing team at Bromford Precision Solutions Limited.

This role is suited to an experienced CNC Turner who is confident setting and operating machines within a fast-paced Aerospace or Automotive manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for producing high-quality components to specification, working safely and efficiently to meet production schedules.

Role Accountabilities:

• Set and operate CNC turning machines in line with production requirements
• Work to production timelines, ensuring output meets quality and delivery targets
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company-specific documentation at all times
• Carry out routine checks to ensure components meet specification and quality standards
• Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail throughout the manufacturing process
• Manage workload effectively, prioritising tasks where necessary to meet deadlines
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support team objectives and continuous production flow
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment in line with company standards

Person Specification:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry in a similar role
• Apprentice trained (preferred) or able to demonstrate relevant equivalent experience
• Experience working in a production manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of working to SOPs and controlled documentation
• Self-driven, results-oriented and positive in approach
• Able to work well with others and contribute effectively as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Comfortable working to deadlines and managing workload effectively
• Able to prioritise tasks where required
