Are you an experienced Sheet Metal Worker with strong hands-on fabrication and finishing skills?


Do you have experience using air tools, grinders and forming equipment to produce, deburr, fettle and finish sheet metal components to the required standard?
 
If so, an established aerospace manufacturing business is looking to hire a Sheet Metal Worker on a permanent basis.

Job Description

• Fabricate, assemble and finish components from sheet metal
• Efficiently use hand tools and machinery to cut, bend, straighten and shape a variety of sheet metals
• Work with thin gauge materials (approx. 0.7mm – 1.6mm), maintaining tight tolerances

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Proven experience in sheet metal fabrication within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to inspect, assemble and finish welded, brazed or burred surfaces to tight tolerances
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• High attention to detail with a right-first-time approach
