Shift Maintenance Technician – Mechanical

Location: Corby

Salary: £45,000 - £65,000 + Pension + Overtime 

Shift Pattern: 6am - 3pm OR 9am - 6pm

The South Yorkshire site is looking once again to expand due to further investment, within this globally secure organisation.

Key Skills

• Apprentice Trained Engineer in mechanical Engineering
• Understanding of PPM systems
• Fault Finding Skills

The Role

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on plant equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes and valves.

• Diagnosing faults - Identifying and resolving mechanical, electrical and process related   issues to ensure optimal plant performance
• Oversee plant commissioning and development providing technical support and guidance
• Repairing plant and equipment
• Introduce and implement new technologies and treatments to enhance operations
• Create maintenance procedures
• Manage stocks and supplies
• Prepare weekly reports
• Ensure Compliance with all health and safety legislation
• Obtain specialist components and equipment as required
• Respond to breakdowns where required
