We are looking for a strong Electrically Bias Shift Technician to join the Engineering Team at our clients fast paced food manufacturing site in Coventry. 

This is an exciting opportunity to  where you will be responsible for the planned maintenance schedule and responding to breakdowns keeping downtime to a minimum ensuring the smooth running and maintenance of the manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities of a Shift Technician 

• Quality Checks of maintenance activities
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance 
• Adhere to Health and Safety Standards at all times 
• Demonstrate hands on ownership and confidence when responding to breakdowns 
• Prioritise system faults 
• Accurately record work carried out
• Collaborate with colleagues 
• Ensure CMMS is correctly updated 

Experience and Qualifications required for an Shift Technician 

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 Electrical/Mechanical Qualification, Time Served Apprenticeship
• Good understanding of Siemens / Allen Bradley 
• Good understanding of SCADA control systems
• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills 
• Strong communication skills 
• Good manufacturing practices 

Salary and Benefits of a Shift Technician

• Annual Salary £54,000 (inclusive of shift allowance)
• 23 Days Annual Leave
