Site Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major highways infrastructure scheme in Leicester. This role is well-suited to an engineer with strong setting-out capability, experience working on live highways projects, and the ability to support site delivery teams to maintain programme and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting out for highways works including drainage, earthworks, kerbs, paving and associated structures

• Managing QA documentation, site records and as-built information

• Supporting site management with technical queries and design coordination

• Ensuring works are delivered safely, to specification and in line with programme

• Liaising with subcontractors, designers and the wider delivery team

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Engineer on highways or major civils projects

• Proficiency with GPS, total station and digital setting-out software

• Strong understanding of highways specifications and quality requirements

• CSCS card essential; SSSTS/SMSTS desirable

• Ability to commit to the full 7-month duration
