Site Engineer

Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a Severn Trent Water project in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a live water infrastructure scheme within a regulated utilities environment.

Site Engineer Role & Responsibilities:

• Setting out works in accordance with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements

• Supporting the delivery of civil engineering works on a Severn Trent scheme

• Working closely with the Site Agent and Project Manager to ensure smooth project delivery

• Managing QA documentation, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), and as-built records

• Carrying out site inspections and quality checks

• Coordinating subcontractors and monitoring site progress

• Assisting with surveys and resolving technical issues on site

• Ensuring all works are delivered safely and in line with health, safety, environmental, and client standards

Site Engineer Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects

• Experience on water, wastewater, or utilities schemes essential

• Strong setting out and surveying skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Valid CSCS card

• EUSR Water Hygiene desirable

• Good communication and organisational skills
