Site Manager – Civils / Groundworks

We’re recruiting on behalf of a reputable contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee civils and groundworks works on a project based in Nottingham.

This is a short-term role, ideal for a Site Manager who can hit the ground running and confidently manage groundworks packages from day one.

Role Responsibilities:

• Managing day-to-day site operations for civils / groundworks works
• Overseeing subcontractors and direct labour
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, and to spec
• Coordinating with the client, engineers, and suppliers
• Maintaining site paperwork, RAMS, and progress reports
• Enforcing health & safety standards at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within civils / groundworks
• Strong knowledge of drainage, foundations, and general civils works
• SMSTS 
• CSCS card
• First Aid at Work 
• Ability to manage programme and labour effectively
