Job Title: Skilled Butcher
Location: Derby (DE24)
Salary: £13.99 per hour (£32,736.60 per annum, based on 45 hours)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm (weekend work may be required)
Contract Type: Temp to Perm

Key Duties:

• Cutting and preparing meat products according to order and quality standards

• Maintaining high hygiene and food safety standards throughout your shift

• Ensuring stock rotation is followed to minimise waste and maintain freshness

• Following company procedures to prevent cross-contamination between raw and cooked products

• Reporting any quality or equipment issues to your supervisor

• Packing and scanning finished goods in a clean and accurate manner ready for dispatch

What we’re looking for:

• Proven experience in a butchery or meat processing environment

• Understanding of food hygiene and safety practices (training provided if needed)

• Reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented approach

• Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative

• Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced, production-focused environment
