Job Description:

Overview
Social Value T-level Coordinator.   In line with recent government legislation, my client is keen to add to their social value team.  Construction companies are now obliged to employ T-Level students, within a construction related discipline.  Familiar with this legislation, you will play a national role in coordinating the company's offering.  Largely working from home and having meetings via Teams, you will need to travel on occasion.

The Role
You will lead on the coordination and delivery of structured, high-quality T Level and educational placements across project sites and offices. The role will play a key part in achieving the company’s Social Value commitments under their Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) strategy, ensuring the business provides sustainable skills development opportunities, supports disadvantaged groups, and helps address critical industry skills shortages.

The successful applicant will work closely with an existing team of Social Value Coordinators to develop and manage T Level industry placement programmes across project sites, acting as the primary liaison with colleges, training providers and placement students.  They will ensure that placements are structured, safe, and aligned with curriculum and industry standards and support regional Social Value teams with coordination and delivery of placements.

Furthermore, they will support the coordination of site visits, work experience, careers talks, and workshops with schools and colleges and support internal teams in delivering consistent, high-quality educational engagement, developing resources and case studies to showcase impact.

Stakeholder management is essential to the role as the is a requirement to build and maintain strong relationships with FE colleges, schools, and industry partners; support project teams in mentoring and supervising students and act as the point of contact for queries relating to educational placements.

Compliance is also important as ensuring that all placements comply with safeguarding and health & safety requirements, performance is monitored against social value and ESG targets and reports are prepared for client frameworks, audits, and internal governance.

The Person
Applicants will have some experience of coordinating work placements, apprenticeships, or education programmes.  They will also bring with them a working knowledge of the T Level structure, industry placement requirements, and FE/HE engagement.

Additionally, they will have strong organisational skills, with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines; excellent communication and relationship-building skills with both internal teams and external partners and an understanding of safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance in an educational setting.   This will be ideally coupled with a commitment to social value, diversity, and inclusion and of course the flexibility to travel regularly across the UK.

The role comes with a  car/fuel card/mobile & laptop.  The salary range is broad between £30,000 and £40,000 as it will entirely depend on the experience of the applicant.

Remuneration
£30,000 to £40,000

This is a permanent position and Corepeople Recruitment Limited will be acting as an employment agency for permanent recruitment on behalf of our client.
