Job Opportunity: Sorting Operators (x2) – Immediate Start

Location: Bardon
Contract Type: Temporary (2 months)
Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours/week
Shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (flexible)
Pay Rate: £17.17/hour (PAYE, Inside IR35)

🔧 About the Role

We are currently seeking two experienced Sorting Operators to join a busy industrial gases facility in Bardon. This is a hands-on operational role ideal for individuals with a strong background in plant or production environments.

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Operate filling equipment for various gases (O₂, N₂, Ar, CO₂, flammable and non-flammable gases) into cylinders at high pressure.
• Handle and move cylinders using a forklift truck and other equipment.
• Conduct quality checks and analysis on products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Complete process documentation accurately and legibly.
• Load and unload pallets and trucks, inspect and label cylinders, and perform minor repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant working environment in line with safety and quality standards.

✅ Requirements 

• Valid forklift truck licence (essential)
• Previous experience in a similar operational or industrial role
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and quality standards
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable working with cryogenic and non-cryogenic systems

• You’ll be working with a variety of equipment including pumps, vaporisers, gas analysers, and computerised systems.
