Based at Loughborough headquarters, this is an opportunity to play a key role in our growing Procurement & Supply Chain team, supporting the next generation of sustainable energy products.

We're looking for a proactive Sourcing Specialist to manage key supplier relationships and support the full procurement lifecycle - from NPI through to serial production - across a wide range of direct and indirect categories.

You'll be the bridge between technical teams, engineering, and suppliers, helping ensure that our supply chains are robust, cost-effective, and aligned with our innovation goals.

This is a varied, hands-on role within a small, collaborative team - ideal for someone who enjoys combining commercial thinking with practical delivery in a fast-paced, engineering-led environment.

• Manage supplier relationships across multiple direct and indirect categories.

• Support new product development (NPD) projects and ongoing production sourcing.

• Prepare and execute RFQs, evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate commercial terms.

• Identify, assess, and onboard suppliers in line with business requirements.

• Work closely with engineering, quality, finance, and project teams to ensure procurement needs are met.

• Establish and monitor supplier KPIs, managing performance against Quality, Cost, and Delivery targets.

• Maintain accurate master data and purchase orders within the ERP system (IFS).

• Champion process improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain.

• Proven sourcing experience across a mix of direct and/or indirect categories.

• Background in a manufacturing or engineering environment, ideally with exposure to complex BOMs and NPI projects.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

• Commercially astute, analytical, and confident negotiating supplier agreements.

• A collaborative team player with a hands-on, delivery-focused approach.

• Degree-level qualification; CIPS Level 4 or working towards it desirable.

📍 Location: Loughborough (on-site, 5 days per week)
💰 Salary: Up to £45,000 (potentially higher for exceptional experience)
🕒 Hours: 40 per week, Monday-Friday
